Frequently asked questions
New client consultations are initially scheduled for 20 minutes up to a maximum of 60 minutes per client per session. Fees are time based (see fee list). You can always schedule additional time to discuss your pet’s condition however the initial time limit is 60 minutes.
Please complete a Client Registration and Medical History Form and return them at least 3 business days PRIOR to your consultation. This information is critical to comprehensively and accurately evaluate your pet’s condition and without it no opinion can be given
Please fill out your pets Current Medications and Supplement forms. Be sure to include all current prescriptions and over the counter medications given to your pet. This also includes herbal medicines, homeopathics, joint care supplements and vitamins/mineral supplements. Please include the dosage, how many times a day it is being given and how long you have given your pets these medications or products. This form is essential and must be submitted with your client registration and history forms
Please send all of your pets medical and surgical records via email. This includes: all of regular veterinarian records (RDVM), laboratory reports and other diagnostic reports(radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy, biopsy). Failure to provide previous veterinary records will slow and/or prevent a complete comprehensive and accurate evaluation of your pet at the time of initial consultation.
The amount of information given at the initial visit can be enormous. It is encouraged that you write down any information you want to keep. Likewise, if you have specific questions, please write them down before your consultation so they can be discussed during your appointment
If you have not completely filled out your paperwork or provided your pets records before your appointment, you will need to reschedule.
Please reschedule or cancel your appointment a minimum of 48 hours prior. Your credit card will be refunded the full amount. Canceling your appointment after this time prevents other sick pets from being scheduled that need help. This is especially true for new consultations. There are no refunds for missed appointments.
